I am a total cabbage fiend, and could easily demolish a whole savoy cabbage on my own in a week. Of course, whether I could continue to do so, week in, week out, is a matter for debate.

Over potato/carroting is a worry. I also remember Keri despairing at having to come up with yet another recipe for chinese leaf (or was it spring greens, history does not relate!). However the general veg intake in this household dwindled alarmingly in 2008, something we need to take steps to remedy.

Note that vegetable boxes at this time of year will typically give you ample supply of potatoes and carrots. And significantly less than ample supply of anything else.

Also, we have found there is a certain amount of savoy cabbage that two people are willing to eat in one week, and it is less than one savoy cabbage. The upshot of this, last year, was the acquisition of our very own cabbage mountain.
