‘What is a monad?’

There has been a lot of confusion on this point, so let us be clear:

A monad is to contests of intellectual superiority (at least in internet lamer circles) what a gonad is to contests of physical or masculine superiority.

    Also: ARGGHHHH you have to fix your blog so it can send email notification on new comments, it’s so very horrible to use at the moment.

    I’ve just down an upgrade to the latest WordPress. There were some reported issues in recent versions with the email system, so I don’t know if my email problem is related to that or something different. Maybe this upgrade will help me to tell the difference!
