Looking Out To Sea

Last night we went to the Kingdom to see Bex and her new flat. She had a Sparkle and Spice party, so we took sparkly rice crispie cakes (made with marshmallows and edible sparkles from a packet of Barbie cake decorations) and spicy popcorn. I hope Bex still had a flat left after the drunken revellers had done with it.

Dunfermline is served a lot better for transport than Dunbar. We could have got a train home at 11.30, as against 9pm if we were coming from home.

Of course, if you take the train home you don’t get to see the bridge. I mean, obviously you can see the road bridge, but you know that’s not what I’m referring to. I can’t find the quote anywhere online, but I have seen Billy Connolly say that the road bridge was only really built to get a better view of the rail bridge…
